Dear Mead Valley Elementary Families, Students, and Community,
It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new principal of Mead Valley Elementary School. After serving the Val Verde Unified School District for the past 20 years, I am honored to take on this role and join a school community that I care deeply about.
My passion lies in education and in creating strong, inclusive learning environments where every student is given the opportunity to thrive. I believe that when students are provided with the best educational experiences, we open doors to limitless possibilities for their future. At Mead Valley, we are committed to fostering academic excellence, building meaningful relationships, and nurturing the whole child.
A safe, positive learning environment is the foundation for student success, and we are dedicated to maintaining a school climate where all students feel valued, supported, and inspired to learn. Our instructional practices are rooted in research-based strategies to ensure high levels of learning for every student.
Working in partnership with families is incredibly important to me. When schools and families work together, students benefit in countless ways. I encourage all parents and guardians to get involved—whether it’s through our Parent Teacher Association (PTA), English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC), or School Site Council (SSC). Your voice and participation help shape the future of our school and enrich the experience for all students.
More than anything, I want every student and family to feel a strong sense of belonging and connection to our school. Mead Valley should be a place where all voices are heard, all cultures are celebrated, and every child is empowered to succeed.
